just got this phone,, not bad at all,,, only thing is, i wanted to put a movie on my phone, its in mp4 ,, copied an pasted it using the usb cable,, but when i went to find the film it wasnt there,,, tried again it copied ok,, but no sign of the film..., i opened the memory card up on my pc an it shows up there,,, so why cant i view it on my phone ???

Are you sure the video is right size? Was the card clear when you got it? Does it play if you add it to the phone? When you have the card on your computer and add it this way does it work?

This is a strange one but like Skids has asked

Does it play if you move the files onto the phone memory rather than the memory card?
If you move the files onto the memory card while its on the computer does it work?
Are the videos all the same format? What size are they?

I was going to get that phone yesterday and got advised not to get as they are few problems with it. i.e like things not showing up when you have downloaded them and the phone keeps crashing. I have just got the lg viewty smart GC900 and upto now i have not found a problem with it.It is very easy to use as well.

yea i got sorted guys cheers anyway,,, was looking in the wrong file,,, DOH !!!! luv this phone,, as for crashing i got advised not to go for the n97 as me mate has it an its always playing up,, gotta say the camera is outstanding... 12.1 megapixel,,, satio rules lol

I got the N97 when it first game out and loved it. Not tried the new mini one but it looks great there have been a few updates for N97 in the firmware which fixed a few bugs I must say I never had any problems with mine.
