I would run a scan on your computer with malwarebytes which you can get free from here http://www.malwarebytes.org/ make sure its updated before running the scan. I am also a big fan of this tool combofix which can be found here and how to use it http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix try these and get back to us if the popup issue is fixed or still happens

Malwarebytes is brilliant! It's killed stuff for me that most of the 'biggies' didn't touch! :dft010:

These are great it turns out that avg run out and looking for a free or good paid antivirus I have read some good one like non 32 http://www.betterantivirus.com/ its also cheap but only just heard of it. I also heard of norton but told its harsh on memory. So open to ideas?

I don't like paying out but have heard that Nod32 has a good name. I use Avira which is free and also gets good reviews and, like Scotty, I use Malwarebytes to scan regularly as well. I also have that set up to do a quick scan of any downloads so i know they're safe and it doesn't give loads of false positives which is a bonus :dft010:

Nod32 have heard it is great very light and very good at the virus scan and is cheap. There is loads of free ones I use McAfee on my computer and your right to stay away from Norton its memory happy
