The G1 smart phone, which mimic many of the features of Apple's popular iPhone. The Google phone, which boasts a hidden Qwerty keyboard behind a slide-out touchscreen and a 3-megapixel camera. Users will benefit from high speed internet browsing and will be able to access Google Maps and instant messaging through Google Talk. It uses Google’s Android operating system. Since Android is an open platform, it can be used for free.
The Google phone offers the traditional smartphone experience while at the same time incorporating the touch screen features of the iPhone. The high resolution screen, touch interface and improved Google Maps are all features which allow the G1 to match up well with the iPhone on paper at least.
