[SOLVED] Blackberry unlocking

Is it possible to get a blackberry unlocked? Can it be done like the nokias or do i need to go to the dodgey man at they market???????

They can be unblocked I have never done this before my self as but the ones I have dont tend to be locked down to any network. There is most likely a code you can enter like most phones but these days it does seem to be if they do need then it needs software to do the job even on nokia phones. I shall phone up tomorrow and see what more I can find out on this?

cheers allen - i bought one of the old bay of e - and its in lovely nick (o2 branded 8700g) but the lovely wife wants to use it on t mobile - i guess i should probably stick her sim in it and see what happens lol

Well I spoke with the people at vodafone to while on the phone with a problem at work and this is the info they gave me yes you can unblock the blackberry o2 and vodafone can give you the code but they may charge you for this. But the good news is it can be done and easy
